Biography
About me:
My background is working across a range of services in the NHS, at all levels of education and also for charities, as a health care professional.
I have a Masters degree in emotional aspects of disability and a diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling .
I work with adults and young people with a range of issues and specialise in working with disability and illness, loss and bereavement, autism/ autism spectrum condition.
I now work independently.
When the other person is hurting, confused, troubled, anxious, alienated, terrified; or when he or she is doubtful of self-worth, uncertain as to identity, then understanding is called for. The gentle and sensitive companionship of an empathic stance… provides illumination and healing. In such situations deep understanding is, I believe, the most precious gift one can give to another.
