My Approach to Therapy
The person-centred approach is a theory
of counselling and a way of being.
It is a way of understanding how and why psychological pain arises and a way of helping.
It is based on the relationship between the client and counsellor.
We can talk on the phone, or meet for 30 minutes with no charge.
It is an opportunity to see if this is right for you.
Some in-person sessions are availible, however I can often be more flexible with online sessions.
Our first session will be a chance for us to discuss and understand your needs. It may last up to one and half hours. If we decide to meet regularly we can book a few sessions initially and then we can talk about further sessions.
A fee for our first session can be discussed before the first session.
Follow on sessions are £50 per 50 minute session.
I offer some reductions according to income.
